Recreational Timetable
Our Recreational gymnastics programme is inclusive for children of all ages and abilities. We aim to provide a fun and safe, action packed and rewarding environment where children are able to learn new skills and achieve new goals.
At Streatham Gymnastics Club children will work on improving and mastering skills on a variety of apparatus such as Bars, Parallel bars, Beam, Vault, floor and AirTrack. We incorporate key skills into their gymnastics classes such as flexibility, agility, co-ordination, balance and strength. These are not only vital in gymnastics, but beneficial in all areas of development.
Children work towards achieving the British Gymnastics award scheme elements of Rise Gymnastics, and have the opportunity to take part in our Annual Club Competition.
Squad Timetable
This class is invitation only and open to boys and girls who have a particular level of ability. Squad members will have the opportunity to compete in external floor and vault competitions at club and regional level throughout the year.
Coaches are continuously assessing the recreational programme for gymnasts showing potential to be in squad.
